We feel that the most ingenious use of our boxes we have heard of so far is that by the charity Trade Aid.

They initially used the boxes as shipping containers but once they arrived in Tanzania they made a simple water filtration system out of a stack of boxes that they had modified by drilling holes in all but the bottom one. These holed boxes were filled with filtration media like local sand and stones. It was then dirty water in at the top and filtered water at the bottom, siphoned off through a tap.

Can you beat this ingenious use? If so please send us an e-mail, hopefully along with an image.
